To start this week’s news some changes are being made to the blog, the regular posting schedule will be Wednesday for articles and Friday for news posts. In addition, I am proud to announce that Partnormal blog will soon be appearing on Facebook and Twitter; complete with a sparkly new logo! Now on with the news…
Little green men on the rise:
Over in the United States of America the National UFO reporting center (NUFORC) has revealed that since the 25th of October they have received more than 1000 new reports of UFO’s being seen by members of the public. According to the report 36 of the countries 50 states have seen an increase in proposed extraterrestrial activity; and on New Years eve over a hundred reports of flying objects came in from Florida alone, though whether aliens or spirits were the cause of such sightings is unknown. The NUFORC has compiled many of their reports on their website for those eager to check them out.
Closer to doom:
It was announced this week that the Doomsday clock, a symbolic device used to show the planet’s likelihood of global nuclear war and the state of the planet in general, has been moved one minute closer to midnight. The clock, started in 1947 has been changed twenty times since then to reflect major world events that take us closer to or further from nuclear armageddon, it now reads at 5 minutes to midnight. The most recent change has been accredited to the Fukishima nuclear plant disaster, Iran’s nuclear programme and the state of climate change policy worldwide.
Thanks to the Huffington post for their great report on the history of the Doomsday clock.

Off the Back of a wagon:
Now anybody buying something from the back of a lorry know they could be in with a nasty surprise. However, one Russian man found more than he bargained for when he opened up some supposedly ‘empty’ crates he had bought for firewood only to find they contained 79 Kalashnikov rifles. Apparently the crates were used to carry rubbish at the Izmash arms plant near the city of Izhevsk, though the driver of the lorry transporting them to a dump thought the crates were all empty and decided to make a bit of extra cash by selling them to locals. An investigation has now been launched to determine whether this was a genuine mistake or the crates were part of an organised channel for selling them off illegally.Sadly, due to the arms plant being a high security compound it is not very likely that the rifles were thrown out by accident.

the aliens returned on christmas eve but they must have come invisibly because I have not seen them and why would they visit us they are communists
Hey thanks for the comment though I dont think that there are any aliens out there personally and the phenomenon of UFOs can be explained with the right evidence. However, if I’m wrong it’s very likely they aren’t communists
If you were wrong on the first point, why would you continue to give your own views any credibility? Wouldn’t you have to say, hey, I really don’t know anything much, maybe i’ll stop having opinions about things? Or when the aliens come, are you going to have posts about how you know more about the aliens than any one else does, and even though the aliens are now here, the people who thought they were coming were dumb in the first place and it was still right not to believe in them at that time. And if they are not communists, what are they? Republicans? We’re talking about aliens, remember, not David Icke lizard people.
The proof is here:

have I convinced you? I think I have. if only I can convince myself.
Firstly i was just posting news of an increased rise in reported UFO activity, lets not forget that UFO doesn’t necessarily mean extraterrestrials; just an unidentified flying object. Secondly I’m not saying your view that aliens exist is wrong I just would like to see hard evidence that they actually do exist. Lastly I don’t think we could ever put a human political system to a set of beings that are not humans, we don’t do it for animals so why aliens?
I don’t think ufos are from animals, but i will keep an open mind about it. I know you didn’t mean dogs and cats. Dolphins are intelligent but without opposable thumbs they would have difficulty developing technology. Its a bit farfetched to think they could have developed before they evolved into sea dwelling creatures. It is interesting though how man has lost the ability to breathe underwater, perhaps that was done deliberately because there is something hidden under the water. Have a look here (you have to go to the bottom:

But I still don’t think it is dolphins. And if it was gorillas, I don’t think they would be becoming extinct. However, you may be right, ufos may come from an animal we don’t know about like Bigfoot I suppose. I haven’t thought about whether animals could be communists though. if Bigfoot was communist, he’d be in deep shit in America, wouldn’t he.
I will keep reading your blog with interest.
He would indeed, the idea of a ‘red’ Sasquatch would definitely heat up the hunt to find him. Evolution is such a great mystery still after all these years i agree though hopefully we will get to the bottom of it one day. I may not have been clear but meant to say that i think most UFO incidents can be put down to meteorological effects or aircraft or specifically in the case of the NYE sightings a combination of people that had had too much drink combined with maybe those Chinese flying lanterns that are always popular.
Thanks for taking the time to read the blog too and I always love a good debate.
sorry I had a nap.
Yes I agree about evolution, here is a post I did about it:
http://thingsthattastelikechicken.wordpress.com/2011/08/17/eggs/
Hey imagine if ufos came from the weather, wouldn’t that be weird, intelligent weather, and it blows all stuff together to make ufos, that then fly in itself – it could take little weather to different places – maybe the weathers are all fighting with each other and invade each others parts. (I know thats not real.) Like Fred Hoyle going on about spontaneously generated 747s, and thats why there is no evolution, what a goof.
